6. Retention

We keep account, order, payment, and chat records for as long as needed to provide the service, complete payouts, handle refunds, meet legal/accounting duties, and resolve disputes. Device tokens are kept while your app is registered and removed when they become invalid or you log out / uninstall as applicable.

You may ask us to delete or correct your account data (see section 8). Some records (for example paid orders and tax-related payouts) may be retained as required by law.

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted HTTPS in production, hashed passwords, and access limited by role (customer, merchant, rider, admin). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

SugoGo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International processing

Our apps and servers may process data in the Philippines and in countries where our hosting or service providers operate (for example Google Firebase). We take reasonable steps to protect information in line with this Policy.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy. Material changes may also be notified in the app or on the website.
